ACCOUNTANCY SERVICES

Year-end accounts – for registered companies, the accounts will be prepared in a mandated format suitable for submission to Companies House.  For registered charities, SORP-compliant accounts will be produced.  For smaller companies and charities which do not require a statutory audit, we may be able to act as a reporting accountant.   If your company requires a statutory audit, we will work with your auditor to get the accounts signed off.  We will then prepare your accounts in iXBRL format, readyfor the submission to the Companies House and Charity Commission.

Tax return to HMRC – we aim to prepare your tax calculation on a draft basis before your year-end, to ensure you have maximised your tax planning strategy.  After the year end, we will prepare your final tax calculation and submit your tax return to HMRC electronically well in advance of the deadline.

Company Secretarial duties – these generally include filing a number of documents with the Companies House, including the company’s Annual Return, financial statements, auditor’s report (if required), strategic report (if required); maintenance of statutory books and records; ensuring security of legal documents; informing the Companies House of significant changes, etc.  These are legal duties which could be delegated to your accountant (but not your auditor).

Self Assessment Tax Returns – for directors, small business owners, sole trades, partnerships and individuals.
